Fit of the Month: Official Rules

How it works: Each calendar month we pick our favorite photo of a Ferda Hockey fan, and that fan wins a free tee. The first contest period runs October 17 through October 31, 2026. After that, each period runs from the first to the last day of the month (Eastern Time).

Who can enter: Legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., 18 or older. Ferda Hockey staff and their households can't win.

How to enter: Follow @ferda_hockey_blog on Instagram, then post a public photo that shows you repping Ferda Hockey (wearing our gear, or at a game or watch party with Ferda Hockey on your screen). Tag @ferda_hockey_blog and use #FerdaHockey. You have to follow us when the winner is picked, and the post has to stay public through the judging date. Limit one winning entry per person per month. No purchase necessary; a photo without our gear is just as eligible.

How we pick the winner: The Ferda Hockey team judges every eligible entry from the period on creativity (40%), hockey spirit (40%) and photo quality (20%). Ties are broken by the earliest post. Our decision is final.

Prize: One Ferda Hockey tee of the winner's choice (approximate retail value $30 to $37), shipped free to a U.S. address. No cash or substitutions. One prize per month.

Winner notice: We announce the winner on our Instagram within 7 days after each period ends and contact them only by direct message from @ferda_hockey_blog. We will never ask for payment, card details or a password. The winner has 72 hours to reply with a shipping address, or we pick the next-highest scoring entry.

Using your photo: By entering, you let Ferda Hockey repost your photo on our social accounts, website and emails, with credit to your handle. You confirm the photo is yours and everyone in it is OK with it being shared.

The fine print: Void where prohibited. We can disqualify entries that are offensive, use someone else's photo, or break these rules. Winners are responsible for any taxes. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta or the NHL.
