Marchand out through October, Gadjovich out indefinitely

Panthers coach Paul Maurice gave injury updates on two forwards following the first day of training camp at Baptist Health IcePlex on Sept. 17.
Brad Marchand, who played through a lingering injury last season and had surgery in August, will spend all of October rehabbing. "That may be he's ready to play right at the end of it, and maybe he needs a short period of time, assuming no setbacks," Maurice said. Marchand had 54 points (27G, 27A) in 52 games last season and reached 1,000 career points; he now sits at 1,034 points in 1,152 games.
Jonah Gadjovich is out indefinitely. Injured against Vegas on Oct. 25 and operated on in November 2025, the fourth-liner never returned last season. "We're still looking at options and searching for some answers on this," Maurice said. "I have nothing but respect for the man. He's in the gym. He does everything every day to give himself a chance."
